Architectural Technologist in Faroe-Islands



As an Architectural Technologist in Faroe-Islands, you will be responsible for assisting architects and engineers in the design and construction of buildings. You will use your technical knowledge and skills to create detailed drawings, specifications, and models for various projects. Your main goal will be to ensure that all designs are functional, safe, and compliant with building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts
- Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Prepare technical specifications and material schedules
- Conduct site visits to gather information for design development
- Review plans for compliance with building codes and regulations
- Assist in cost estimation and project budgeting
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural drafting or design
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
Starting salary of $900 per month without accommodation. Accommodation options are available upon request.

This position is based in Faroe Islands.
