Hotel Sales Manager - Aalborg, Denmark
As a Hotel Sales Manager in Aalborg, Denmark, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for our hotel. Your main goal will be to attract new guests and maintain relationships with existing clients, while also promoting the hotel's amenities and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue
- Identify potential clients and markets through research and networking
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential partners
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts with clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Monitor industry trends and competition to stay ahead of the game
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, and other events to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar role
- Knowledge of sales techniques and principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports
- Knowledge of hotel operations, amenities, and services is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred but not required
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
