Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bungoma. The ideal candidate should be a hands-on individual with experience in various maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment and facilities within our company. You must have the ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. This is an urgent job opportunity and we welcome applications from all nationalities. English language skills are not required for this position, however, proficiency in any other language is a plus. Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and completed tasks
- Perform preventative maintenance measures to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical dexterity and stamina to perform manual labor as needed
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping purposes
