Plasterboard Worker



A reputable construction company in Roskilde is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month.

As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard panels on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will also be required to prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering by filling cracks and holes with joint compound and sanding them smooth.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with plasterboard and possess strong technical skills in measuring, cutting, and installing panels accurately. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard panels to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard panels using appropriate techniques and tools
- Finish joints between panels by applying joint compound, tape, or other materials
- Sand down surfaces to create a smooth finish
- Prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering
- Identify any defects or imperfections in the plasterboard and fix them accordingly
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Strong technical skills in measuring, cutting, and installing plasterboard
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
