Part-Time Carpenter


We are a busy construction company based in Funchal, seeking a skilled part-time carpenter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible working hours and to gain experience in the industry.

As a part-time carpenter, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with various construction projects, including building, repairing, and installing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to accurately measure, cut, and shape materials according to project specifications.

To excel in this role, you should have strong attention to detail, good physical dexterity and stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in carpentry is not required but would be beneficial. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate with a strong work ethic.

This position is open to individuals of any nationality who possess their own valid visa. The salary for this role is 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with various construction projects such as building homes or commercial structures
- Measure materials accurately and cut them to the appropriate size
- Install structures made of wood or other materials using hand and power tools
- Repair damaged structures by replacing broken parts or fixing structural issues
- Follow safety protocols at all times while handling tools and working on job sites
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors regarding project progress
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and shape materials according to project specifications
- Physical dexterity and stamina required for manual labor tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience in carpentry preferred but not required
- Must possess own valid visa for working in Funchal
