Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and occupancy through effective sales strategies and techniques. You will work closely with the marketing and revenue management teams to develop and implement sales plans that align with the hotel's overall business objectives. This position is based in Oslo, Norway.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Identify potential business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential sources of business
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel's facilities and services
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with revenue management team to set pricing strategies that maximize profitability
- Prepare monthly sales reports for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field (required)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs in the hospitality industry
- Ability to travel for client visits as needed (within Norway)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary: 1400 USD per month
Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided by the company.
