Entry-Level Fitter in Os, Norway


We are looking for an entry-level Fitter to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components according to blueprints and technical specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to determine work procedures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, templates or other measuring instruments
- Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment
- Assemble mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, motors, and bearings
- Install and align motors, pumps, conveyor belts, and other mechanical equipment
- Test assembled parts to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or machinery if needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in a similar role is not required but considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of reading technical drawings and using hand/power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions (standing, crouching)
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
