Sous Chef
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Aarhus. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to create and design menu items, supervise the kitchen staff, and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Assist with menu planning, cost control, and budget management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train staff
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
