Network and Systems Administrator for Student Network Services


We are looking for a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As part of our Student Network Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the network and systems used by our student population.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats
- Provide technical support to students regarding network connectivity and access
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Maintain inventory of all network equipment and ensure proper documentation is kept up-to-date

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
