IT Manager



As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our company's information technology department. Your main goal will be to ensure that our technology systems and infrastructure are efficient, secure, and up-to-date. You will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to support our organization's goals.

In this role, you will work closely with other department managers to identify their technology needs and provide solutions to improve their productivity. You will also supervise a team of IT professionals, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and other technology systems
- Manage the daily operations of the IT department
- Ensure data security and backup protocols are in place
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions
- Train employees on new technologies or systems as needed
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, or services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology management
- Knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, data backup protocols
- Experience managing a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Location:
This position is based in Odense but may require occasional travel within Denmark.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month but may vary depending on qualifications and experience.
