Executive Chef - Balzers



We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Balzers, catering to a diverse clientele. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen, creating and executing innovative menus, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary excellence, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and team management
- Create new menus and dishes that are in line with current food trends and meet the expectations of our guests
- Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing production
- Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure a high level of performance, productivity, and teamwork
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment in compliance with health codes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, cost control principles, and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of chefs
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail to produce visually appealing dishes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
