Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine (Eldoret, Kenya)
Our busy restaurant in Eldoret is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Indian cuisine establishment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers and managing a team of talented staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Train and manage staff to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, expenses, and payroll
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary: 1500$ per month
