Instrument Technician


We are hiring an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide timely and effective resolutions
- Install new instruments as needed
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient operations
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Must be able to work full-time with occasional overtime as needed

Preferred qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Instrumentation or a related field
- Experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring diagrams
