Entry Level Machine Learning Engineer


We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Entry Level Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms, models, and systems that will drive innovation and improve efficiency within our organization. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for applying machine learning techniques
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms, models, and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions
- Test and evaluate the performance of machine learning models on real-world data
- Continuously monitor and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of existing models
- Stay updated on industry developments in machine learning and incorporate new techniques into our processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with data manipulation tools such as SQL or Pandas
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large datasets using Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
- Experience implementing machine learning solutions in a production environment
