Part-Time Restaurant Manager in Greenland
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team on a part-time basis in Greenland. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the chef to create menus that are innovative, appealing, and cost-effective
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and making adjustments as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Danish or Greenlandic is an asset)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Greenland
Salary: $1200 per month (part-time) with accommodation provided.
