Instrument Technician
We are a leading company in the oil and gas industry, based in Los Angeles. We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and repair instrument malfunctions in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed on instruments
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certificate in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments used in the industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
