Senior Commercial Architect


Our architectural firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Senior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent design abilities, and a deep understanding of commercial building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design proposals for commercial projects
- Oversee the entire design process, including creating detailed drawings and specifications
- Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes and regulations
- Lead a team of architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques to continuously improve design processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Architect, with a focus on commercial projects
- Proficient in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this full-time position. Accommodation is not provided; however, we do offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for non-local candidates. This position is suitable for men who have the necessary qualifications and skills.
