A reputable IT company in Almada is seeking a talented Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join their team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology and the desire to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights on the network
- Maintain security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Perform regular backups of data and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience working with Windows Server operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
