Land Surveyor
As a land surveyor, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to the physical features and boundaries of a piece of land. This job involves using specialized equipment, such as GPS technology and surveying tools, to measure and map out the land. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and drawings based on your findings. Experience in land surveying is required for this position, as well as a biometric passport for travel if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine the precise measurements and boundaries of a piece of land
- Use specialized equipment to collect data, such as GPS technology and surveying tools
- Analyze data to create accurate maps and reports
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to ensure accuracy in project planning
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate information
- Keep detailed records of all surveying activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately
- Effective communication skills for working with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting when necessary
- Biometric passport for potential travel requirements
