Carpenter vacancy in Muharraq Bahrain

Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Muharraq. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry and must be able to work independently. Accommodation will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure or fixture
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines or power saws
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools
- Inspect wood products for defects and to ensure conformance with specifications

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Proficient with hand tools like saws, chisels etc.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with good measuring skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must have own transportation

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Muharraq (accommodation provided)

Nationality: Preference given to Bahraini nationals
