Junior Data Mining Analyst



As a Junior Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. You will work closely with our team of experienced data analysts to develop strategies for data extraction and processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about data and looking to start their career in the field of data mining.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and tools such as SQL, Python or R
- Identify patterns and trends in the data that can provide insights or solve business problems
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for extracting and processing data
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through visualizations or written reports
- Continuously monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate complex datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling or machine learning techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear manner
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- A passion for working with large datasets and solving complex problems

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Svalbard (remote work possible)
