Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Oslo, Norway


We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to perform tasks such as digging trenches, moving materials, and lifting heavy objects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment according to safety and operating standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine job specifications
- Follow instructions from supervisors or engineers
- Safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces or on uneven terrain
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with other workers on the job site
- Monitor gauges, dials and other indicators to ensure proper equipment operation
- Complete daily logs of machine usage and maintenance performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
