Instrument Technician - Faro, Portugal



We are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Faro, Portugal on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission new instruments and equipment according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation systems
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Keep detailed records of all work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues
- Attend training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation principles
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Experience with PLCs, DCSs, and other control systems is a plus
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Faro, Portugal. Applicants must be willing to relocate at their own expense.

Contract:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Free visa sponsorship will be provided for the selected candidate. A one-time ticket will also be provided for relocation expenses.
