Merchandiser Coordinator



We are seeking a skilled and organized Merchandiser Coordinator to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Merchandiser Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the merchandising process for our company's products. This is a contract job with a salary of $1600 per month and does not include accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with sales team to identify customer needs and preferences
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking as needed
- Create visual displays and layouts to attract customers
- Train and supervise merchandisers on product placement and display techniques
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product assortment and pricing
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors' products, and customer preferences

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail management
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
