Entry Level Typesetter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Typesetter to join our team in Bergen. As an Entry Level Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and graphics for various printed materials such as books, magazines, and advertisements. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of 1500$. No prior experience is required as we provide on-the-job training. Accommodation can also be provided if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to produce high-quality print materials
- Use software programs to format text and graphics according to design specifications
- Ensure all text is properly aligned, sized, and formatted for printing
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency in layout
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from team members
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in graphic design or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Basic understanding of typography principles preferred but not required
