Baker
We are hiring a skilled and experienced baker to join our team at a bakery in Esbjerg, Denmark. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of baking experience and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking various types of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters for different types of bread, pastries, and desserts
- Bake products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, icings, fillings, or other toppings
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Clean work area, equipment, utensils, and tools after each shift
- Order ingredients and supplies as needed
- Train new employees on bakery procedures and recipes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a baker in a professional kitchen or bakery setting
- Knowledge of different types of flours, yeast, sugars, and other baking ingredients
- Ability to read recipes accurately and follow instructions closely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in product appearance and taste
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Team player with excellent communication skills
Benefits:
