Job Title: Waiter/Waitress at a Beachfront Restaurant in Mombasa



We are currently seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a beachfront restaurant in Mombasa. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that the dining experience is enjoyable.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely manner
- Present menus and make recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Serve food and beverages to guests with attention to detail and presentation
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal and addressing any concerns or requests
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with setting up tables, silverware, glassware, etc.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred but not required
- Outstanding customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is an asset)
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
