Contract Librarian
Location: Multan, Pakistan



We are seeking a qualified and experienced Contract Librarian to join our team in Multan, Pakistan. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library resources and services, assisting library patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library programs and events.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection including acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of materials
- Assist library patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Plan and coordinate library programs and events to promote literacy and community engagement
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, transactions, and usage statistics
- Train new staff members on library procedures and policies
- Stay updated on current trends in librarianship through professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a librarian
- Proficient in cataloging and using online databases
- Knowledge of current trends in librarianship
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
