Entry Level Librarian in Multan

We are hiring an Entry Level Librarian to join our library team in Multan. As a librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and managing library resources, assisting patrons with research and information needs, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Organize library materials such as books, magazines, and digital resources
- Maintain accurate records of library materials and ensure they are properly shelved
- Assist patrons with finding information and conducting research
- Provide guidance on how to use library resources effectively
- Manage library circulation desk, checking in/out materials and collecting fines
- Assist with organizing and promoting library events and programs
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop collection strategies and ensure diversity of resources
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in library science and technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Familiarity with cataloging systems, reference materials, and online databases
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English (Urdu language proficiency is a plus)
Salary: The starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the first six months of employment. After that period, the librarian will be responsible for finding their own accommodation. However, our team will assist with recommendations and connections to suitable housing options.
