Fitter - Maintenance Technician


We are in search of an experienced Fitter or Maintenance Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment in our company. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or Maintenance Technician
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Possess their own tools
- Have experience working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems
