Entry-Level Turner in Bergen, Norway


We are an established manufacturing company in Bergen, Norway and we are seeking an Entry-Level Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools to shape and cut metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, and other machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine product specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or errors
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience as a Turner is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of machine operations and basic understanding of engineering drawings
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for operating machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
The starting salary for this role is $1200 per month.
