Interpreter

We are in need of a skilled interpreter to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your primary role will be to listen to speakers and accurately interpret their words into the target language.

Responsibilities:

- Listen to speakers and accurately interpret their words into the target language
- Convey tone, emotions, and cultural nuances in translation
- Take notes and refer back to them for accuracy during interpretation
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Understand the subject matter being discussed in order to provide accurate translation
- Use specialized vocabulary and terminology when necessary
- Manage a high volume of information quickly and accurately

Requirements:

- Fluency in at least two languages, including English and Danish
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of cultural customs and etiquette
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong note-taking skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required

Salary: 1500$ per month
