Interpreter (Japanese-English)

We are looking for a skilled Japanese-English Interpreter to join our team in Aarhus. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate verbal translation services between Japanese and English speakers. This position requires strong language proficiency, cultural knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and other events between Japanese and English speakers
- Translate written documents from Japanese to English and vice versa
- Ensure accurate understanding and communication between parties by maintaining the original tone and context of conversations
- Conduct research on industry-specific terminology to ensure accuracy in translation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in translations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Japanese and English languages (native or near-native level)
- Bachelor's degree in Japanese language, linguistics, or related field preferred
- Prior experience as an interpreter or translator is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of cultural nuances and customs of both Japanese and English-speaking countries
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and accurately
- Proficiency in using translation tools such as dictionaries, glossaries, etc.
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month.
