Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Technician to join our team in Bungoma. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive mechanics and possess the necessary technical knowledge and skills to perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance on vehicles. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs, such as replacing parts and components.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and estimated costs.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automotive technology preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, such as scanners and code readers.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex mechanical issues to non-experts.
