Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant located in Faro. Your main goal will be to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, inventory, and budget
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate employees
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise
- Create schedules and manage payroll for all employees
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotions and attract new customers
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for all staff members
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial role in the restaurant industry preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in budgeting and inventory management
- Familiarity with marketing techniques
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
