Restaurant Manager (Seasonal) in Faro, Portugal
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our seasonal restaurant in Faro, Portugal. Your main duties will include managing staff, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain proper stock levels
- Create work schedules for employees and ensure they adhere to company policies
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain consistent quality standards
- Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Maintain financial records such as sales, expenses, and payroll
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events or promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role for at least 2 years
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and management principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on providing exceptional service
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control is preferred
- Must have a valid work visa for Portugal or EU citizenship/residency
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
