Florist Assistant

A busy flower shop in Malindi is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Florist Assistant to join our team. As a Florist Assistant, you will be responsible for helping with the daily operations of the shop, including creating floral arrangements, assisting customers with their orders, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with creating and arranging floral designs for various occasions
- Greeting and assisting customers with their orders, providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Restocking supplies and keeping track of inventory levels
- Assisting with deliveries and setting up displays for special events
- Learning about different types of flowers and their care instructions
- Providing recommendations to customers based on their preferences and budget
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and new floral design techniques

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred but open to all nationalities
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays
- No prior experience necessary, training will be provided
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Accommodation can be provided if needed
