Surveying Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveying Assistant to join our team in Greenland. In this contract role, you will assist our team of experienced surveyors in conducting land surveys and collecting data for various projects. Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors with conducting land surveys using various equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones
- Collect and record accurate data and measurements
- Help maintain survey equipment and ensure they are in good working condition
- Work closely with the surveying team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to provide updates on progress
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites
Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but a degree or coursework in surveying or related field is preferred
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with surveying tools and software is a plus
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel purposes
- Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions and work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to live on-site in provided accommodation during the duration of the contract
