Part-Time Computer Research Scientist in Biometric Passport Technology - Faroe Islands

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Research Scientist to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a part-time member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in biometric passport technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development in computer science and biometrics, with a specific focus on passport technology
- Design, develop, and implement new algorithms and techniques to improve biometric identification and verification processes
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Analyze data and present findings to internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in biometric technology and incorporate them into our solutions

Requirements:
- Master's or PhD degree in computer science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience conducting research in biometric technology, preferably with a focus on passports
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
- Experience working with biometric data (e.g. fingerprints, facial recognition)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
