Job Title: Land Surveyor - Faroe Islands
As a land surveyor for our company in the beautiful Faroe Islands, you will play a crucial role in accurately measuring and mapping out the land for various construction and development projects. Your work will involve using specialized equipment such as GPS, laser scanners, and total stations to collect data and create detailed maps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other relevant information
- Use advanced surveying equipment to collect data and create accurate maps
- Analyze survey data, prepare reports and maps for clients
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate project planning
- Conduct research on land records, historical documents, and other sources to gather information for surveys
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a land surveyor
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as GPS, laser scanners, and total stations
- Knowledge of CAD software for map creation is preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
