Merchandiser (Contract)

We are currently hiring for a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Odense on a contract basis. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing product displays, inventory levels, and promotional strategies to maximize sales and profit. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Analyze sales data and trends to make recommendations for product placement and promotions.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Create attractive product displays that adhere to company standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional plans.
- Conduct store visits to ensure proper execution of merchandising strategies.
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
