Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer (Contract) - Bergen, Norway

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex problems and improve our products and services.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you must have experience in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks. You must also have experience in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis tools like Pandas and NumPy.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand business needs and design solutions that effectively leverage machine learning. You will also be responsible for testing and validating your models to ensure their accuracy and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport for ease of travel between countries if necessary. Accommodation can be provided for those relocating to Bergen for the duration of the contract.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of various machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools like Pandas and NumPy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
