Preservation Architect



The Preservation Architect will be responsible for preserving and maintaining historical buildings and structures in the city of La-Condamine. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural design, preservation techniques, and building codes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings to identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Develop and implement preservation plans that comply with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to ensure preservation work is carried out accurately and efficiently
- Research and source appropriate materials for preservation projects
- Monitor progress of preservation projects, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality workmanship
- Provide expert advice on preservation techniques, materials, and processes to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation work performed on historical buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in architectural preservation or restoration projects
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and historic preservation guidelines
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design programs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Passion for history and preserving cultural heritage

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month. A free visa and ticket to La-Condamine will also be provided.

Location:
This position is based in the beautiful city of La-Condamine. While preference will be given to candidates who are already located in or willing to relocate to La-Condamine, we welcome applicants from other locations as well.
