IT Support Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in Greenland. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring their computer systems are running smoothly. Your main duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining network systems.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. A biometric passport is also required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide solutions
- Install and set up new equipment such as computers, printers, and routers
- Maintain network systems including servers and databases
- Ensure data security by implementing necessary measures
- Train clients on proper use of computer systems and applications
- Keep track of all support tickets and maintain detailed records
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and security
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients from various technical backgrounds
- Biometric passport
- Fluent in English (Greenlandic or Danish language skills are a plus)
