Job Title: Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and precise measurements of land and other geographical features. You will use specialized equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and aerial imaging to gather data and create maps, plans, and reports. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, locations of natural or man-made features, and other important information
- Use specialized equipment to gather data, including GPS systems, total stations, and aerial imaging
- Analyze survey data to create maps, plans, and reports for clients or internal use
- Work closely with engineers, architects, construction teams, and other professionals to provide accurate information for projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Keep accurate records of all survey data collected
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions based on survey findings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in a professional setting
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in using GPS systems, total stations, aerial imaging software such as ArcGIS or AutoCAD
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Valid driver's license required
Salary: $1300 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Herning (all nationalities welcome)
