DevOps Developer


We are a fast-growing tech start-up based in Bergen, Norway, looking for a talented DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation processes to improve the efficiency and reliability of our software development and deployment. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$, without accommodation but with visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation processes to streamline software development and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in DevOps or related role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
