Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. You should have a strong understanding of different pastry techniques and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce high-quality desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to menu specifications
- Create new recipes and develop unique flavor combinations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Train and supervise other pastry team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity and ability to develop innovative dessert options
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Danish is a plus)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Denmark
Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
