Carpenter - Faroe Islands


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Faroe Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be expected to have knowledge of various carpentry tools and equipment to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools such as chisels, planes, saws, drills, or sanders
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, or hardware using hand or power tools
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries while working on job sites
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures using carpentry techniques
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely completion of projects
- Keep track of inventory and order materials when needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans accurately
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring material dimensions accurately
- Good physical stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites
- High school diploma; Vocational training in Carpentry is preferred

Salary: $1300 per month
