Mason - Construction Worker


We are looking for a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Nakuru. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various types of materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. You will work closely with other construction workers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns or foundations using measuring tools
- Cut or shape bricks, blocks, or stones according to specifications
- Mix mortar or grout and apply it between bricks or stones
- Align structures using plumb lines, levels, and other tools
- Fill gaps with grout or sealant to prevent moisture from entering the structure
- Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Clean finish surfaces using hand tools or power tools

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position.

This job is located in Nakuru, Kenya.

Preference:
