Experienced Fitter - Almada, Portugal


We are in need of an experienced Fitter to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment, while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, motors, and other machinery
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with mechanical systems
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Valid visa/work permit for Portugal (visa sponsorship available)

Salary:
$1400 per month
